2 New Nobel Prize Winners

Earlier this month, UC Berkeley added two new Nobel Prize winners to our storied history: David Card, a labor economist and professor of economics, won the 2021 Nobel Memorial Prize in Economic Sciences; and David Julius, who earned his Ph.D. from Cal in 1984, shared the 2021 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine.
