Graduate program at SNU or Korea University

Has anyone with an average or below average GPA gotten into one of those universities? I currently live in Korea and wanted to do my masters in CS in a few years. I'm becoming discouraged by posts saying the smartest only get accepted. I graduated with a 2.5 GPA from America with a unrelated degree. However, I'm learning coding through udemy and I was hoping that and learning Korean might help but now I'm unsure. I would like to hear your experience!
